Panic during a pursuit

Passenger pleaded: “Please stop already!”

Because he was driving drunk and the police were hot on his heels, a 21-year-old man stepped on the gas in Frauental, Styria, on Saturday night. His friend in the passenger seat panicked: "Please stop," he begged him.

A 21-year-old car driver in Frauental had a blood alcohol level of 1.8 on Sunday night when he was pulled over by the police. He wanted to avoid it due to his condition and stepped on the gas. He ignored all the stop signs with blue lights and flashing lights and sped off on the B 76 towards Frauental. In doing so, he cut several tight corners, drove on the verge, ignored numerous priority signs and exits, thereby endangering other road users. 

Friend panicked
Meanwhile, his 24-year-old friend sat in the passenger seat, white with fear. "Please stop," he pleaded desperately with the speeding driver. After 15 minutes of insane driving, he actually gave up and stopped on a local road. He has now lost his driver's license and has also been charged with numerous offenses.
