Parked automatic car rolls into bank branch

Quite a mishap occurred on Tuesday in the Vorarlberg municipality of Sulz. A man parked his car in front of a bank - but unfortunately the car didn't stay there. 

It probably didn't go as planned: A 58-year-old man parked his car in front of a bank branch in Sulz at 8.40 a.m. on Tuesday morning and then entered the financial institution. However, the man had not taken the automatic transmission of his car into account, because the car suddenly started moving and rolled directly towards the glass façade of the bank. 

Gearshift not in "park" position
The car broke through the window and also demolished parts of the wooden furniture. As it turned out, the driver had not put the gearshift in the "park position" beforehand. Luckily, nobody was injured.
