Snow groomer on a rope: Deadly danger on the slopes!

The operators of the Goldeck mountain lifts are issuing a warning about a freshly groomed run! The north run, a black slope, is currently being prepared for experienced skiers.

The black slope (S1), the former Goldeck valley run, is about to open. "It is currently being groomed," says Goldeck boss Erik Zechmann and emphasizes: "However, the piste is not yet open and its use is strictly prohibited!"

Because deadly dangers lurk during the preparations! "While the snow groomers are working on the rope, it's life-threatening. The rope often cuts into the snow, and the more inclined the snow groomers work, the higher the rope can shoot up again," explains Zechmann.

This has often led to fatal incidents. "Unfortunately, skiers often ignore the barrier and don't recognize these dangers," says Zechmann, speaking from experience. Preparations should be completed by the end of next week and the black slope opened.
