Murder alert: Teenager allegedly killed man

Murder alert in Kindberg in Upper Styria! On Monday afternoon, a violent crime occurred in a house in which a 36-year-old man was killed. A teenager (14) is under urgent suspicion - he is the victim's brother.

According to initial reports, the crime took place at around 2 pm in a house in Kindberg. A juvenile Austrian (14) is said to have killed a man, also an Austrian. The victim is the 36-year-old brother of the suspect.

"The suspect was arrested by the police after a manhunt", police spokesman Heimo Kohlbacher told the "Krone". He had previously fled the scene of the crime. 

Arrested after a short escape
A manhunt was initiated after an emergency call. "But there was a description of the perpetrator." Officers were able to locate the suspect quickly. The teenager was arrested near the house without resistance.

Nothing is yet known about the weapon used in the violent crime. The Leoben public prosecutor's office and the Styrian State Office of Criminal Investigation have begun investigations at the scene. 

The suspect was arrested by the police following a manhunt. He had previously fled on foot. A concrete description of the perpetrator had previously been given.

The motive for the crime is still a mystery
The arrested man was taken to a police station in the district of Bruck-Mürzzuschlag. There he is being questioned by the Leoben public prosecutor's office and homicide investigators. The motive for the crime is also a big mystery for the time being.

A crisis intervention team was requested by the investigators for the family members. They all suffered a severe shock.
