Carlos Alcaraz against Daniil Medvedev LIVE today

Carlos Alcaraz has reached the final of the Grand Slam classic at Wimbledon, as he did a year ago, and could repeat his triumph from last year. On Friday, the tennis pro from Spain beat the Russian Daniil Medvedev 6:7(1), 6:3, 6:4, 6:4 in the semi-finals.

The first set was particularly hard-fought with four losses of serve and plenty of back and forth, Medvedev won the tie-break 7:1. The Russian's resistance continued in the second set, but a break to 1:3 was too much against the Spaniard, who was playing increasingly strongly.

After that, Alcaraz seemed to have the momentum on his side. In the third set, Medvedev lost his serve to go 1:2 up and then threatened to lose his service again in the seventh game. However, Medvedev recovered to 3:4.

Alcaraz then served out the first break to win the set 6:4 and also took his opponent's first service game in the fourth set. He immediately managed to break back, but that was the last rebellion.
