Man drove to the police station under the influence of alcohol

A 53-year-old man drove drunk in a friend's car to a police station in Pongau on Saturday to pick up his found cell phone. As the police officers noticed clear symptoms of alcoholization, the driver was asked to take a breathalyzer test. The man from Pongau had a blood alcohol level of 1.3 per mille.

The driving license could not be taken from the man as he had lost it years ago and had not yet applied for a new one, the police reported.

The drunk 53-year-old was prohibited from continuing to drive and will be reported to the police.
