Wild scenes took place in Rauris on Saturday. In the fenced-in area at Alpengasthof Bodenhaus, 19 Noriker stallions were allowed to test their strength.

Salzburg's Noriker stallions have been spending their summers on the Grieswiesalm in the Rauris Valley for well over 100 years. On Saturday, they competed against each other again. The Salzburg Provincial Horse Breeding Association hosted the 31st stallion drive from 10 am.

A total of 19 Noriker stallions competed against each other. They established the ranking order for the summer. The impressive power struggles attracted a large audience.
