Death threat with nail file: Police are looking for the perpetrator!

A stranger allegedly used a nail file to threaten to kill a passenger on the Vienna S3 rapid transit train in the direction of Praterstern. The incident took place at around 12.40 pm on May 1st. In order to find the suspect more quickly, the police have now published photographs. 

Because the victim had asked the man to turn down the music playing on his cell phone, a discussion suddenly broke out on the suburban train. Suddenly, the suspect is said to have grabbed a nail file and threatened to kill the passenger. When the victim called the emergency services, the man fled ...

• approx. 1.85 - 1.90 meters tall
• Slim build and light skin tone
• Clothing: Camouflage trousers, white T-shirt and black cap

The Vienna police are now asking the public for help and published pictures of the suspected perpetrator on Tuesday.

"Witnesses who noticed the suspect before, during or after his escape are asked to contact the police," said police spokesman Philipp Haßlinger.
