Mega surprise before the trial against Florian Teichtmeister on Tuesday. Ex-actor Florian Teichtmeister, accused of child abuse files, will be represented by two star lawyers at tomorrow's trial in Vienna's Landl district. The well-known criminal defense lawyer Rudolf Mayer is now also entering the ring as co-defense counsel.

It has been rumored for some time that the ex-castle actor and former TV commissioner will further strengthen his defense. The bombshell came on Monday: 75-year-old Rudolf Mayer will now join Philipp Wolm(www.kw-anwaelte.com) on the defense bench to the left of Florian Teichtmeister and will also make the opening statement for the 43-year-old.

Mayer has defended famous criminal names such as the Ice Lady, Elfriede Blauensteiner, one of the Vienna assassin's accomplices and Josef Fritzl.

The main aim of the defense will be to ensure that the confessed Teichtmeister receives a conditional prison sentence. This is the only way that the ex-star, who is accused of consuming and producing child pornographic material, can avoid being placed in a forensic therapy center.
