Drunk driver crashes into car – driver injured

A 27-year-old female driver was injured in a traffic accident in Schwoich in the Tyrolean district of Kufstein on Sunday afternoon. At an intersection, she collided with the car of a 67-year-old man who, according to the police, was under the influence of alcohol. The man has now lost his driver's license.

The accident occurred shortly after 3 pm on Sunday at a junction in Schwoich. The 27-year-old woman was driving north on the Landesstraße 208. At the same time, the 67-year-old came to the junction from the local road. The two cars collided. 

Woman taken to hospital
The woman suffered injuries of indeterminate severity in the accident. The ambulance took her to hospital in Kufstein. The 67-year-old was given a breathalyzer test, which, according to the police, was positive. The officers confiscated the local man's driver's license on the spot.
