Pinturault hikes “with a little extra weight”

Alexis Pinturault is recovering from the cruciate ligament rupture he suffered in the super-G in Wengen last winter. As the Frenchman has now shared on Instagram, his rehab should be going according to plan, with the 33-year-old already able to hike again without crutches - even with "a little extra weight". 

"The knee feels great," Pinturault added to a photo showing him with his dog and daughter Olympe, giving an update on his injury. 

The technical specialist tore a cruciate ligament in his left knee in Wengen in January, ending the 2020/21 overall World Cup winner's season prematurely.
