Car crashed into public bus with 46 passengers

It could have been worse: On Friday morning in Steinerkirchen an der Traun (Upper Austria), a 32-year-old driver drove his car into the oncoming lane and collided with a public bus carrying 46 passengers. They escaped with a fright.

The 32-year-old Croatian, on the other hand, was injured in the accident and had to be taken to the hospital in Wels. The 46 passengers and the bus driver were unharmed.

Accident in morning traffic
The accident happened on the Sattledter Landesstraße in the municipality of Steinerkirchen an der Traun at around 7 a.m. on Friday. According to the police, the 32-year-old driver crossed the center line in the Oberheischbach area, which caused the collision with the bus.
