Two arrests and charges were made in Vienna on Monday: In Döbling, a woman (29) allegedly injured her boyfriend with a folding knife after he allegedly hit her head with his fist. In Josefstadt, a 49-year-old woman allegedly injured the back of her partner's head after drinking over three alcoholic drinks.

The first emergency call was received by the police in Josefstadt at around 5pm. A 49-year-old woman is said to have injured her partner on the back of the head. The 68-year-old victim then left the apartment to wait for the officers outside the building. The woman was quickly banned from entering and approaching by the police. She was also asked to accompany the officers to the nearest police station.

Woman had over three per mille in her system
However, the suspect failed in her subsequent attempt to flee and was provisionally arrested. The woman was also given a breathalyzer test, which revealed a whopping 3.16 per mille!

Discovered with a torn T-shirt
Less than two hours later, the next operation took place in Döbling: officers discovered a woman with a torn T-shirt and injuries to her face. When asked about the incident, the 29-year-old stated that her boyfriend had allegedly hit her several times in the head with his fist during an argument in the apartment. In order to defend herself, she then allegedly injured him in the neck area with a folding knife.
