Cowardly poison attack on dog waste disposal parking lot

Shocking incident in Spittal an der Drau: an unknown animal hater has the life of a dog on his conscience.

According to the investigations so far, the cowardly, unscrupulous animal hater is believed to have placed or scattered his deadly bait in the parking lot of the dog waste disposal site in the Spittal floodplains between 8 and 11 April. And his cruel plan worked.

The sheepdog belonging to a 65-year-old man literally swallowed the bait - and died in agony from the rat poison despite immediate veterinary treatment. Detectives from the Spittal an der Drau police command have started an investigation and are hoping for witnesses.
