Start with a visit to the landmark of the Wachau: Dürnstein Abbey with its "Discovering the Valuable" exhibition. This invites you to reflect on "the good, the beautiful, the true". You can see the Gothic columned hall, the fantastic terrace right next to the blue church tower, the banqueting hall and the baroque collegiate church. With the audio guide, the pace of the tour can be customized, immersed in the Baroque world of life and faith and connections to the present can be made.
After a short walk through Dürnstein, visitors arrive at Hotel Schloss Dürnstein, where they can enjoy a wine tasting in the 300-year-old, recently restored vaulted cellar. Let the sommelier guide you through this unique ambience below the castle and if you particularly like a wine, you can also take it home with you at farm-gate prices.
