Collision between two cars
Mother and daughter (3) injured in head-on collision
Two cars collided head-on in Aurolzmünster (Upper Austria) on Monday afternoon. The occupant of one of the cars - a 23-year-old German - was uninjured. The two people in the other car, however, had to be taken to hospital: A mother (31) and her three-year-old daughter.
The accident started with a third car, driven by a 40-year-old woman from the Innviertel region. She wanted to turn left on the L 510 in Aurolzmünster on Monday afternoon. Driving directly behind her was a German (23) who, according to the police, was unable to brake in time and crashed his vehicle to the left into oncoming traffic.
Cars hurled into the field
The 23-year-old collided head-on with the car of the mother (31) from the Innviertel region, in which her little three-year-old daughter was also sitting. Both vehicles were thrown into the adjacent field as a result of the crash.
Mother and daughter had to be taken to hospital after the accident. The 23-year-old, however, survived the collision without injury.
