Injured Alaba takes time out in Leogang
After tearing his cruciate ligament in December 2023, the Real Madrid legionnaire used the injury break to spend time with his family. David Alaba spent some lovely days in Leogang.
A few days off and, above all, rest - soccer star David Alaba could do with that after his injury shock at the end of last year.
"The last few days have been heavenly," his girlfriend Shalimar Heppner shared on Instagram, referring to the family vacation at the Forsthofgut in Leogang. After a serious injury at the end of last year - the 31-year-old tore his cruciate ligament in Real Madrid's match against Villarreal in December - the sportsman has now enjoyed the time with his family all the more.
The footballer, who is still not fully fit, focused his sporting spirit in Leogang to support his offspring. Not in soccer, however, but in swimming. This delighted mom Shalimar in particular: "My big boy is splashing around as if he's never done anything else. Unimaginable a month ago."
He received many words of appreciation from fans on social media. And a bunch of digital get-well wishes for dad David on top.
