Window smashed
Aggressive towards own sister and officers
An initially verbal argument between siblings escalated in St. Veit: now it's also about drugs, war material, weapons, resistance to state authority...
At around 9.50 pm on Sunday, an argument broke out between a 23-year-old man and his 31-year-old sister. In front of a ground-floor window of their apartment in St. Veit, he loudly demanded to be let in, which his sister refused to do.
The man then banged his fists against the window pane and tried to break the glass with a jackknife, but only succeeded with a stone.
The police patrol arrived shortly afterwards. The man wanted to leave and resisted the request to stop. During the subsequent provisional arrest, he put up fierce resistance. He kicked and punched wildly. One officer was injured as a result.
The 23-year-old was banned from entering and approaching the premises and was provisionally banned from carrying weapons.
During a voluntary search of his apartment, a small quantity of narcotics (heroin and cannabis residue) as well as war material (ammunition) and a sword were seized.
The suspect will be charged after the investigations have been completed and taken to Klagenfurt prison by order of the public prosecutor's office in Klagenfurt.
