German "taff" presenter Patrice Aminati has made public in a very emotional video that his wife Patrice's cancer, which was thought to have been beaten, is back. 

The 29-year-old was first diagnosed with malignant melanoma last spring. After successful treatment and a hopeful autumn, the shock followed: metastases in the lungs.

"We now have to put on our gloves again and get back in the ring together," says Daniel Aminati in the Instagram video.

The first treatment is going well
 "It's very treatable," explained Aminati, "but as the doctor said so well: the infusions over the next few months - it's not going to be a wellness program."

The Amatis look to the future with courage and confidence. "When we see a meaning behind even dramatic things, it releases strength on the one hand, but also hope," says Daniel Aminati, who also admits that he "cursed God". 

Aminati and his wife have a one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, who is the couple's pride and joy.
