Alarm for the Steyr emergency services on Tuesday morning: at around seven o'clock, a van collided with a car on a wet road. Two people were injured, one of them seriously. Both were taken to Steyr Hospital by ambulance and the road was completely closed.

A crash in Steyr's morning traffic: a yellow Fiat van collided with a car on the B309 near Dietachdorf on a wet road. Both drivers suffered injuries, one of them serious. He was taken to the hospital in Steyr accompanied by an ambulance. The other driver was only slightly injured in the collision.

Both vehicles were totaled and the driver's sides were particularly badly damaged. Fire departments, three ambulances, an emergency doctor and the police were at the scene. The exact cause of the accident is still unclear. The B309 was completely closed for the duration of the clean-up work, which led to massive traffic obstructions.
