Two injured after crash in Grossarl

Two cars collided in the municipality of Grossarl im Pongau (Salzburg) on Monday. Both drivers were injured in the accident and had to be taken to hospital. Alcohol tests on both parties involved were negative and the Grossarl provincial road was closed during the clean-up work.

A 20-year-old woman overlooked an oncoming vehicle with a 51-year-old driver when turning from a side road onto the Grossarler Landesstraße. The latter tried to swerve out of the way in time, but was unable to prevent the crash.

Undetermined degree of injury
Both were injured to an unspecified degree and taken to hospital. Alcohol tests were negative, the Großarl volunteer fire department took care of the clean-up at the scene of the accident.
