Both heavily intoxicated
Son (25) attacked father (54) and police officers
Wild scenes took place in Vienna-Landstraße on Monday afternoon. A 25-year-old in a drunken stupor attacked his own father (54). When the police arrived at his son's apartment, he suddenly pulled out a kitchen knife.
The 54-year-old fled to a police station at around 5.30 p.m. and told them about a violent argument with his son. According to the police, the 25-year-old had injured his father in the face.
Knife also pulled out of jacket pocket
When the police officers asked the 25-year-old in his apartment to accompany them to the police station, he suddenly pulled a kitchen knife out of his jacket pocket and pointed it at the officers.
Both arrested
Shortly afterwards, however, he was arrested. Further investigations revealed that the father had been banned from the area. He was also arrested.
Both were also found to be under the influence of alcohol. The son had 2.94 per mille and the father 2.74 per mille at the time. Both are in police custody.
