Opponents hit ashtrays in the face

Meeting up with others, talking and partying: that's what nightclubs and balls were designed for. But all too often, fights break out there and end up in the hospital emergency room. This was also the case on Sunday night in Wolfsberg and in the Metnitz Valley in Carinthia.

Shortly after 3.30 a.m., an argument between two men from Lavanttal escalated in a nightclub in Wolfsberg. In the end, the 18-year-old hit his opponent (20) in the face with an ashtray. The seriously injured man was taken to Wolfsberg Regional Hospital by the ambulance service.

Wild brawl between ball guests
At around 3 a.m. in Ingolsthal, two ball guests got into a heated argument. The 19-year-old hit his opponent (22) in the face with a glass, causing cuts that had to be treated. The suspect was also injured and both were taken to Friesach Hospital by the ambulance service.

At the same time as the wounds were healing, the young men were dealing with assault and punishment.
