New year, new luck: Will Austria soon have a new Premier League international? The chance is alive, because Wolverhampton Wanderers are apparently very interested in strengthening their woeful defense (42 goals conceded after 19 rounds!) with ÖFB defender Kevin Danso ...

At least Sky Sport UK claims to have learned of this interest from Wolves, who are known to have another Austrian under contract in Saša Kalajdžić, who is still convalescing after a cruciate ligament rupture.

A blink of an eye ahead of the relegation places
According to the report, Wolverhampton's management team have made the 26-year-old, who plays for RC Lens in Ligue 1, their number one target for the January transfer window - at least as far as defenders are concerned.

In general, one or two new additions should make sense for Wolves, as the three-time English champions (1954, 1958, 1959) are currently only in 17th place, a blink of an eye away from the relegation places.
