Fans are amazed: rare photos of Madonna & Lourdes

Apart from their daughter, they have had nothing in common for a long time. But for Lourdes' 28th birthday, Madonna and her ex-boyfriend Carlos Leon had the same idea. Both parents posted rare private photos of themselves with their daughter on their Instagram accounts.

Madonna opted for a collage of videos with old snapshots showing her and Lourdes over the years.

"First, true love"
In her tribute, she wrote: "Lourdes Maria Ciccone Leon!!!! Happy Birthday to my first born. My one and only Little Star!" The latter refers to her song "Little Star" from 1998, which she dedicated to her then two-year-old. The "Material Mom" went on to write: "There's nothing small about you. Big energy, big heart, big light. You were and always will be my first true love!" The diva ended with "Keep shining, Lolita, keep shining!"

Never let yourself bend
Papa Carlos added: "Happy birthday to my beautiful, smart, talented daughter. 28 years young. It feels like yesterday that you came into my life." The fitness trainer then advised Lourdes to never hang her head and never let herself be bent: "You are a queen, a lioness. You have the world in your hands. Love yourself to the moon and back. Papa."

Lourdes has inherited her mother's singing talent. She has just released her debut single "Lock & Key2" under her stage name Lolahol. Some of the scenes from her music video were included by Madonna in her tribute post.
