Arsonist set fire to waste paper container

One or more arsonists struck on Wednesday night in the Maxglan district of Salzburg: According to the police, three paper containers were willfully set on fire. The investigation is ongoing.

The Maxglan fire department rushed to the scene and were able to extinguish the fire quickly. The garbage containers were completely destroyed, but nobody was injured. The amount of property damage is unknown.

In any case, the police have announced further investigations into the unknown perpetrators for damage to property.
