Sandro Kopp did not make it into the main event of the Generali Open!

The 24-year-old Tyrolean retired on Sunday in the second qualifying round of the ATP250 tournament in Kitzbühel against the Argentinian Andrea Collarini at 2:6, 0:3.

This means that four Austrians will play in the main competition, which begins on Monday. On the very first day, youngster Joel Schwärzler will make his debut on the ATP Tour against Brazilian Thiago Seyboth Wild.

On Tuesday, the Austrian duel between Sebastian Ofner and Lukas Neumayer and Dominic Thiem's match against Argentinian Thiago Agustin Tirante in the night session are on the program.
