A small cat got lost in the engine compartment of a woman's car in Kuchl. It was only during a shopping trip in Salzburg that the woman discovered the four-legged friend and drove to the ÖAMTC - where a mechanic became a cat rescuer.

A woman from Kuchl was quite astonished when she discovered a cat in the engine compartment of her car during a morning shopping trip. The night before, the woman had heard cat cries, but attributed them to the neighborhood's four-legged friends.

Animal remained unharmed
She was all the more surprised when the cat's howling did not stop during her morning drive. At a stop, she discovered the frightened animal.

She drove to the ÖAMTC, where mechanic Rade Petrovic freed the animal unharmed and it is now waiting for its owners at the Hallein animal shelter.
