Boy (17) sprayed numerous walls to practise

At least he can't be blamed for not practicing diligently. A 17-year-old in the Upper Austrian Innviertel region decorated at least 21 house walls with "works of art". The budding graffiti artist has now been convicted. The property damage amounts to around 11,000 euros.

After numerous cases of damage to property caused by graffiti in the period from February 2024 to April 2024, officers from Münzkirchen police station have now been able to track down a suspect. A 17-year-old from Esternberg has confessed to having committed at least 15 acts of damage to property in the Münzkirchen and Esternberg area during this period.

Already practiced in the years before
He sprayed graffiti on the facades of numerous public places. He also confessed to further acts from 2022 and 2023. The total damage amounts to around 11,000 euros. When asked about his motive, he stated that he wanted to improve his graffiti skills. The 17-year-old will now be charged with a total of 21 counts of damage to property at the public prosecutor's office in Ried im Innkreis.
