Nature instead of Hollywood:
Eva Longoria moves to Spain with her family
Adios Los Angeles. Eva Longoria and her husband José Bastón are pulling up stakes in the West Coast metropolis and moving to Spain.
The reason for this is concern for their five-year-old son. An insider told the Daily News: "They fear that Santiago will be sucked into the Hollywood cycle if they don't leave the US."
Villa sold at a loss
The actress and the Mexican businessman are also accepting a financial loss.
They have reduced the sale price of their villa in Beverly Hills from 22.8 million to 18.98 million dollars and have already started shipping their belongings to Marbella. Their newly renovated villa is located there. The insider: "Eva and José already offered their property last year and have now offered it again for 4 million less. They just want to get away and see their son grow up in a place where he is surrounded by nature and natural beauty."
Married for eight years
The "Desperate Housewife" tied the knot with 56-year-old Bastón eight years ago. Son Santiago followed three years later. The celebrity couple bought their new mega property in spring 2023 and had it renovated by architect and interior designer Nicolàs Escanez.
Texas-born Longoria gushed about her new adopted Spanish home in Hello magazine: "When I first came to Marbella two decades ago, it was love at first sight. I swore to myself back then, 'One day I will live here!
Now the time has finally come for the 49-year-old. The insider: "She can hardly wait. She's had everything she wanted in Hollywood." Now Eva and her family are starting a new chapter.
