Woman in hospital after rear-end collision with three cars
A 54-year-old local woman caused a rear-end collision involving three cars in Kufstein, Tyrol, on Thursday evening. A passenger had to be taken to hospital. The main road was closed for almost an hour.

For reasons as yet unknown, she then crashed into the car of a 42-year-old Austrian driving in front of her, which in turn was pushed into the car in front of him. The 43-year-old woman in the vehicle in front was injured in the accident and was taken to Kufstein Hospital for treatment. The vehicle of the 54-year-old woman who caused the accident sustained considerable material damage.
The northbound lane of the B171 had to remain closed for around 50 minutes while the accident was investigated and the lanes were cleared. A local detour was set up.
