Witnesses wanted

First responder has the damage after Henndorf accident

Kristina Wildmann from Neumarkt was the first on the scene after an accident in Henndorf on Friday. She managed the accident brilliantly. She then helped a truck turn around at the scene of the accident. It rammed into her car and simply sped off.

Kristina Wildmann actually wanted to have a quiet weekend. Even the start failed. Shortly before 1 p.m. on Friday, she witnessed two vehicles colliding in front of her car as she was turning on the B1 near Henndorf. Wildmann looked after the three people, who fortunately were not injured. The woman from Neumarkt phoned the emergency call center and managed the incident. The occupants were in shock.

"Is that thanks for my help?"
Wildmann then helped a truck to reverse. The articulated lorry wanted to turn around next to the blocked road, but had its problems in the narrow Hartingerweg. When the truck was gone, the employee and single mother couldn't believe her eyes. "The truck had obviously ripped the bumper off my car with the cab when it turned around," says Wildmann, who had parked it safely. "I thought to myself, am I crazy now? Is this the thanks I get for my help?"

Kristina Wildmann is now desperately looking for witnesses who may have seen something. She didn't remember any details about the truck in her haste. The only thing she knows is that it may have had a light-colored, probably white, paint job. However, a cyclist observed the incident and the turning maneuver. "I hope that the lady and the lorry driver will contact the police," said the distraught woman, who is probably out several hundred euros despite having insurance. She doesn't want to blame the driver who demolished her car: "I'm sure he didn't even notice."
