48 km/h too fast: drug speeding driver gave fake urine
At 148 km/h, a speeding driver (27) was stopped by a plainclothes patrol on the Inntal highway on Saturday afternoon. During the vehicle check, the officers noticed symptoms of drug impairment. The man tried to falsify the drug test.
At around 5 p.m. on Saturday, a plainclothes patrol from the provincial traffic department noticed a car on the Inntalautobahn in Ampass that was traveling west at an impressive 148 km/h despite a 100 km/h speed limit. The officers took up the chase and were able to stop the speeding driver.
During a driver and vehicle check, the police found symptoms of drug impairment.

The man wanted to trick the officers during the subsequent urine drug test and gave fake urine. Unfortunately, the officers noticed this. The real urine finally tested positive for THC. The 27-year-old was presented to the public health officer, who found him to be impaired. The driver's license was temporarily confiscated. He will be reported.
