Sebastian Ofner in Monte Carlo against Daniel Evans
Sebastian Ofner has been given a feasible draw in the first round of the Masters 1000 tournament in Monte Carlo!
The 27-year-old Styrian, who is competing in the Principality for the first time, will be facing Britain's Daniel Evans for the first time. The 33-year-old is ranked 42nd in the ATP rankings, five places ahead of Austria's best tennis player.
Thiem in action today
Dominic Thiem is already in action in Monaco from Saturday. The former world number three will face the Spaniard Roberto Bautista-Agut in the first qualifying round. Thiem is under a bit of pressure if he wants to maintain his top 100 position.
He is currently number 91 in the ATP rankings and after Monte Carlo, 45 points from last year's second-round exit at the same venue will be dropped from his ranking. Without taking the competition into account, he would therefore currently just be in 100th place.
