Bitter! LASK player Mustapha injures his ankle

Bundesliga club LASK will have to do without Ibrahim Mustapha in the coming rounds! 

As the Linz club announced on Thursday, the attacking player suffered an ankle injury in training and will be out for some time. The 23-year-old had made his comeback in the previous week's test match against 1860 Munich after suffering his first injury in November.

Now the Ghanaian has suffered another fracture in his left ankle, which will be operated on. Mustapha is not expected to be available to LASK again until the start of the coming season.

"This latest injury is extremely bitter for us and of course for Ibrahim himself," said sporting director Radovan Vujanovic. "However, he is once again receiving our full support and we are absolutely convinced that he will manage to fight his way back once again."
