Intoxicated man first attacked a cab, then the police

On Saturday night, a heavily intoxicated 19-year-old from the Carinthian district of Spittal behaved in a less than civilized manner in front of the Kultursaal in Mühldorf. A cab was the target of his aggression.

It is unclear exactly how the cab in Mühldorf attracted the young man's anger, but he completely snapped. "At around 0.40 a.m., the 19-year-old jumped and kicked a car parked there several times," the police report. "The cab was damaged in several places and the driver immediately alerted the police." When they arrived, however, the troublemaker did not calm down.

The police were also attacked
"During the investigation, the 19-year-old became increasingly aggressive, punching and kicking the intervening officers," the police continued. "One of the officers was slightly injured, so the man was temporarily detained." Unsurprisingly, a breathalyzer test revealed that he was heavily intoxicated. The 19-year-old will now be charged with damage to property and resisting public authority.
