Driver (19) collided with pedestrian

A walk ended in hospital for a 49-year-old lady yesterday. She was rammed by a 19-year-old driver on the sidewalk in Salzburg-Parsch on Thursday.

For reasons as yet unknown, the 19-year-old car driver left the road at a junction in Parsch. He ended up on the sidewalk and collided with a 49-year-old pedestrian.

While the lady was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries, the young driver had to undergo several tests.

The alcohol test revealed a level of 1.09 per mille, and cannabis was also seized in the Flachgau man's vehicle. 

In addition, two suspicious ID cards were confiscated. They identify the young man as Czech - forgery is suspected.
