Next actor in abuse affair

An actor, presenter, musical performer and speaker, who also worked as a freelancer with a well-known Viennese theater, is alleged to have initiated sexual contact with child actors and boys from a choir in Vienna. His apartment in Vienna was raided - charges filed! 

The local theater scene can't rest. Following the conviction of former TV commissioner and former castle star Florian Teichtmeister for child pornography, another alleged abuse scandal is being investigated.

This time the curtain has fallen on an actor, presenter, musical performer and speaker who worked as a freelancer with a well-known Viennese theater company, among others.

The suspect is currently smiling broadly from a press photo of a play. The criminal allegations are serious: the man is said to have initiated sexual contact with child actors and boys from a well-known children's choir as part of his work.

Data carriers seized during raid 
A smartphone, an iPhone, a laptop, several USB sticks and a tablet were seized during a house search in Vienna's Ottakring district in January.

Sexual acts demanded via cell phone video
It is alleged that the artist asked the boys to perform sexual acts via a cell phone camera. According to reports, there are at least three underage victims, some of whom are minors. "Cowardly then", is written in one of the numerous seized chats, for example, when a 13-year-old victim denied masturbating in front of the camera.

The accused - who is presumed innocent - repeatedly asked the boy to video chat, apparently trying to persuade him to perform sexual acts or elicit intimate details from him.

Fortunately, one of the children confided in his parents, who immediately called the police. The Viennese investigators are currently waiting for the seized data carriers to be analyzed. Three possible criminal offenses are involved: initiation of sexual contact with minors, child abuse material and attempted sexual abuse.
