Driver crashes his car into a tree

There was a traffic accident on Tuesday evening in Lustenau (Vorarlberg) resulting in considerable fender bender: a 31-year-old driver left the road and collided with a tree. 

The 31-year-old driver was driving his car on Dornbirner Straße in Lustenau at around 9.35 p.m. on Tuesday when he suddenly veered off the road to the right and headed straight for a tree at the side of the road.

Two female passengers, aged 26 and 28, were still in the car at the time of the accident. The police investigation revealed that the driver lost control of the car due to an evasive maneuver and consequently collided with the tree. 

The trio were lucky in their misfortune: no one was injured in the accident, but the car was severely damaged. A breathalyzer test was also positive. The driver has lost his driver's license for the time being.
