The violent offender apparently didn’t care about the trial against him

His friend and suspected accomplice was brought out of custody and sat in the courtroom, somewhat at a loss due to his lack of language skills, as they debated what to do next. A second African, who is at large and is alleged to have taken part in an assault on a 14-year-old, simply didn't show up. 

"I haven't had any contact with my client either." - The lawyer of an alleged perpetrator of violence shook her head just like everyone else present at the trial against two Africans (30, 31) at the Linz Regional Court. They are said to have pushed down a 14-year-old boy for no reason, kicked him and also stabbed him with a knife. According to the indictment, the knife was stuck in a pocket.

Arrest order
However, only one of the accused is in custody and has been brought before the police; the second is free and officially homeless. Nevertheless, he was served with the summons by the police. Whether he deliberately ignored the date or simply didn't care is unclear. Now there is a new date for the judge, lay assessors, lawyers, experts and also the accused. By then, the fugitive defendant should also be arrested - unless he has gone into hiding somewhere else.
