Norbert Trawöger takes over the Danube Festival Weeks

Norbert Trawöger will take over the directorship of the Danube Festival Weeks in Strudengau from 2025. He succeeds Michi Gaigg. This year's anniversary edition from July 26 to August 15, 2024 will mark the 30th season of the top-class music festival.

Norbert Trawöger is multifaceted: he is not only the artistic director of the Bruckner Orchestra Linz, but also pulled the strings at the Upper Austrian KulturEXPO "Anton Bruckner". He is a musician and author. From 2025, he will take over the directorship of the Donaufestwochen in Strudengau, succeeding conductor Michi Gaigg, who shaped the summer festival for 22 years.
