14-year-old Isabella Holzknecht from Schwarzach impresses with her song "Der Mensch hat nichts gelernt." at the "Falco goes school" talent competition.

She clings to a cage. It is gloomy. A doomsday mood prevails when Isabella sings her powerful environmental anthem and only "money rules the world". Then a lobbyist boss appears, it's Isabella in a white suit.

The song comes from the hip-rock musical "Noah" about the destruction of the world, which children from the Neue Mittelschule St. Johann rehearsed with music teacher Marian Milucky. "I was totally taken by the musical," says Isabella Holzknecht, vocal talent from Schwarzach.

She wanted to make more of it and sat down at the piano at home: she ended up working for 16 hours with her school colleagues on the recording of "Der Mensch hat nichts gelernt". The pupils also invested a lot of free time in the project and spontaneously submitted the entry to the "Falco goes school" talent competition. The submission is a first for the St. Johann school. Voting is still open until Sunday evening (26th).

Passion for music from the age of four
"Isabella has a lot of talent. She has a strong stage presence. She got the finishing touches with us," says school principal Renate Egger proudly. And Isabella herself says: "I've been playing the piano since I was four. I just love it so much." She wants to study acting one day.
