Adios! Five players on Barcelona’s strike list

Clean-up operation at FC Barcelona. According to the Spanish newspaper "AS", the Catalans are planning to offload several players.

With Ansu Fati (Brighton & Hove Albion), Sergino Dest (PSV Eindhoven), Eric Garcia (Girona), Clement Lenglet (Aston Villa), Julian Araujo (Las Palmas), Chadi Riad (Betis Sevilla), Pablo Torre (Girona) and Alex Valle (Levante), eight loan players will return to Barcelona in the summer, although only three of them will be allowed to stay.

According to the report, coach Xavi only plans to keep defenders Garcia, Valle and Aurojo, with no room in the dressing room for the rest. 

Ansu Fati, for example, will have to look for a new employer. The Catalan youth player was loaned out to England last summer, where he scored just two goals in the Premier League. Sergino Dest is also unlikely to feature in La Liga next season, although PSV are reportedly interested in signing him permanently. 

Pep star coming?
Meanwhile, Bernardo Silva from Manchester City is said to be Barcelona's dream player. The Portuguese is said to have already asked his compatriot Joao Felix about good residential areas. The "Blaugrana" are facing an exciting summer of transfers.
