Swallower attacked police after theft
First a 21-year-old from the district of Freistadt seems to have "tanked up", then he stole two traffic signs and finally attacked police officers.

The drunkard had probably stolen the signs in Freistadt a few meters earlier.

The officers first asked the 21-year-old to return the stolen goods. However, the man suddenly became aggressive while his personal details were being taken. He hit one of the officers in the face with the flat of his hand and had to be brought to the ground by the officers.

But the drunk still didn't seem to have had enough. He tried in vain to defend himself by kicking and threatening, was arrested and taken to the police station. After he had calmed down there, he was released at around 1:40 am. He will be reported to the Linz public prosecutor's office.
