Cries for help: Man robbed by armed perpetrators

Two previously unknown perpetrators are said to have robbed a young man in Vienna-Penzing on Friday afternoon with a drawn firearm and a death threat. According to the police on Saturday, the 19-year-old's wallet and a two-digit sum were taken by force. 

The amount stolen is believed to be between 50 and 70 euros. During the robbery, one of the perpetrators is said to have held a firearm in his hand as a threat. The two men then fled.

Witnesses rushed to the man's aid 
Witnesses heard the victim's cries for help in Keißlergasse at around 4.25 p.m. and rushed to the young man's aid. All immediate search measures have so far been unsuccessful. The Vienna State Office of Criminal Investigation, Western Branch, has been entrusted with the further investigation.
