Woman (34) arrested for attempted murder of ex
On Tuesday, a 35-year-old man reported to the police in Vienna-Favoriten that he had been attacked with a knife by his ex-girlfriend. The woman was arrested and the man charged.
A 35-year-old man went to a police station in Vienna-Favoriten around noon on Tuesday, where he claimed to have been injured with a knife in the neck area by his ex-girlfriend.
As a result of further investigations and questioning, the 34-year-old was finally arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, damage to property, serious coercion and dangerous threats and taken to a prison.
Restraining order
The 35-year-old man was charged on suspicion of assault, making dangerous threats and attempted child abduction, but remained at large.
As he had visited the home of his ex-partner and their one-year-old son despite a ban, he was also charged with violating a restraining order.
The one-year-old son was handed over to the custody of the relevant authorities. The 34-year-old man received medical treatment while further investigations are underway.
