At the end of the season, it can be really loud, shrill and fun once again: At Easter and beyond, the Tyrolean ski resorts will be attracting visitors with their creativity for the final fun on the slopes. There should also be something for local ski fans!

Hopefully the snow will hold out against the plus temperatures, sunshine on "Day X" would be great - and thousands of motivated winter sports enthusiasts. Then nothing stands in the way of a bombastic end to the ski winter! Concerts, cult races and culinary delights - those responsible in the ski resorts have once again come up with lots of ideas for the finale. A short review from the "Krone":

Scene Kitzbühel:
The first-ever "Sound/Escape" festival brings together more than 40 DJs and 15 businesses on the mountain and in the valley over the Easter weekend. Admission is free, except for the band "Maja" at the Hornköpflhütte. The main stage is in the inner courtyard of BH Kitzbühel (from 5 pm), after which the party continues in clubs and bars.

"The event is also always planned for the end of March in subsequent years," reveals TVB Managing Director Viktoria Veider-Walser, who sees a lot of (guest) potential in the new concept. Including DJ Marvin Aloys, a local great.

The scene is St. Anton:
The Arlberg season runs until April 20. The participants of the cult race "Weißer Rausch" (White Intoxication) will once again be the closing time. At 5 pm, things get serious for the 555 skiers, snowboarders and telemark skiers at the mass start on the Vallugagrat.

Those who like things a little more relaxed are in good hands at the Tanzcafé Arlberg. This year, the music festival (31.3.-14.4.) will fill the entire Arlberg with music.

The venue is Paznaun:
The mother of all closing concerts is once again taking place in Ischgl on the Idalp this year. The US band "Black Eyed Peas" will be on stage on April 30. Andreas Gabalier will ring in spring on April 14. And at Easter (31.3.) Nina Chuba rocks the Idalp.

The Easter weekend will also be rocking in See with several live bands. Daredevils can take part in an ice water surfing competition (30.3.). Galtür also has an unusual event. However, the target group there on March 27 is children. They can actively participate in the Heavysaurus concert (four dinosaurs and a dragon).

The venue is Sölden:
For the tenth time, the "Electric Mountain Festival" will take place in the ski resort from April 8 to 12. Skiing fun, dance music and culinary delights are the recipe for success. One of the main draws is Berlin rapper Ski Aggu with his unmistakable piste style. The glacier play Hannibal will also be performed again (April 5).

Set in the Axamer Lizum:
Winter sports enthusiasts can demonstrate their courage to be ugly on "Ugly Skiing Day" on April 13. The Hoadl is transformed into a wild, colorful party zone. What began as a small birthday party in 2011 has now become a cult event with many fans.

The Zillertal is the scene:
The Zillertal Arena focuses on the traditional at the Lederhosen Wedel Weekend (5-7 April). And in Mayrhofen, visitors can expect a great atmosphere from April 8 to 13. The mix of piste magic and club sound is what makes the "Snowbombing Festival" so appealing. "Zammhaltn" is the motto in Hochfügen. The 58th edition of the traditional rope race celebrates the end of the season on April 14.

The venue is Ellmau:
If you prefer something a little more cozy and family-friendly, the Easter egg hunt (Easter Sunday, 11 am to 3 pm) at Ellmi's Zauberwelt on the Hartkaiser is the place to be. Young and old alike can set off in search of 2000 hidden eggs.
