Car ended up in glass facade
The turning maneuver of a car driver in Götzis (Vorarlberg) went badly wrong on Tuesday morning: The man had overlooked an oncoming car - first the two vehicles collided, then his car crashed into the glass façade of a craft business.
At around 11.40 a.m., the driver of the car started to turn off Appenzellerstrasse into a side street. As he did so, he overtook another road user, resulting in a collision. Due to the force of the impact, the vehicle of the person responsible for the accident was maneuvered into the glass façade of a craft business.
Driver slightly injured
The driver sustained minor injuries in the accident - he had to be taken to Hohenems Regional Hospital. The material damage to the two vehicles and the façade is considerable.
