The customer didn't want to go home
"He first stayed for two hours and paid 600 euros. Then he used domina services for 1,000 euros," the witness reported in spirited Italian, translated by an interpreter. After that, the prostitute actually wanted to get rid of the customer. But he refused to leave, even agreeing to a massive price increase to almost 2000 euros per hour. According to the impulsive witness, he only left the establishment at around 10 o'clock in the morning.

A criminal offense was only committed after the man had slept off his intoxication, which also involved drugs. And he took a look at his bank account: the night's pleasure cost a total of 19,300 euros. "I didn't know where the money had gone. It was all the savings I had," says the accused, who speaks of gaps in his memory, seeing himself as a victim.

The accused wanted to get the money back
He decided to go to the police to get the almost 20,000 euros back. He told the officers a "story" that did not include the visit to the transsexual studio. Rather, he had been defrauded that night. The account details led to Lorenzo, who was soon in handcuffs. The Viennese man stuck to his version for four interrogations and the dominatrix spent several days in custody, innocent of any wrongdoing.

The false statement was discovered
Judge Martin Kampitsch nevertheless considers the offense of giving false evidence to have been clearly fulfilled: "You had several opportunities to remember after all. To make matters worse, one person had to be detained during the investigation," he sentenced the previously blameless man to 15 months conditional imprisonment, not legally binding. "The witness is referred to the civil courts with her claims," concludes Mr. Rat - the prostitute is demanding 7350 euros in legal fees plus 18,000 euros in compensation for pain and suffering.
