Freak out after bankruptcy
Scandal! Darts bully punches opponent in the face
Another scandal involving Adam Smith-Neale: after his defeat at the Nuneaton Darts Open on Saturday, the darts bully punched his opponent in the face.
Unbelievable scenes: Adam Smith-Neale blew a fuse at the Nuneaton Darts Open. Security camera footage shows the Englishman suddenly punching his victorious opponent after his defeat.
It is still completely unclear why Smith-Neale became so beside himself. "The PDC is aware of a video showing a tour card holder circulating on social media. The Darts Regulation Authority has been informed and is investigating accordingly," said the Darts World Federation.
Smith-Neale had already caused a stir time and again in the past. In 2018, he surprisingly won the World Masters of the British Darts Organization (BDO). This secured him a place at the BDO World Championship, where he played with a broken leg. According to the English media, he suffered the injury while drunk in Italy. But it is his escapades off the stage that put him in a bad light. Many have labeled the darts player a fraud because he allegedly sold used dartboards that customers never received.
Whitlock injured?
Explosive: Smith-Neale is said to have once been responsible for an injury to Australia's darts superstar Simon Whitlock. "When he played on crutches in Lakeside a few years ago with a broken leg, a lot of players laughed at him because he was the one who jumped on Simon Whitlock once and injured his ankle," said former darts pro Paul Nicholson.
